At Rimadesio, research into the design of a walk-in wardrobe, understood as a composition of wall panels and horizontal elements, has resulted in a new proposal: Abacus.
This system places the highest value on the most exclusive material in the Rimadesio collection to the highest degree. We’re talking about glass.
Abacus looks like a wall of pure painted glass, available in 30 different colours. Even self-supported and suspended storage units are in glass. The super-thin overhanging shelves are in aluminium honeycomb panel: a material used originally in aeronautical applications that can combine high resistance with a very slight frontal visual impact. Each shelf can be wired for LED lighting.
Abacus is made of a hidden aluminium structure, with a patented solution for the suspended elements and a lighting system integrated into the top part of the panels.
